Mian A Jan, MD, FACC, FSCAI

A board certified physician in Internal Medicine, General and Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Jan is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and a member of the American Board of Disability Analysts. He is the President of West Chester Cardiology and is currently Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital and he is the Past-President of the Chester County Medical Society. Dr. Jan is very active in writing medical and human-interest articles that highlight artists from Chester Count for the Chester County Medical Society. He has extensive experience in interventional cardiology including balloon angioplasty and coronary stenting and has been named top interventional cardiologist.

Dr. Jan has received many awards throughout his career, such as Best Cardiologist, Main Line Today, Top Docs Magazine, Philadelphia Magazine, US World News and Report and Castle Connolly.

He has been honored by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Citation for lifetime of achievements and his excellence in cardiology services, Pennsylvania Senate, Award for his achievements and for the services in cardiology to the people of Pennsylvania and US Congress, Certificate of Recognition for his outstanding service to the people of Chester County.

These awards are not only for his academic achievements but also for his humanitarian efforts. He helped established the William Darlington, MD Scholarship with the Chester County Medical Society for a West Chester University student who is planning to attend medical school in Pennsylvania. He helped establish with his sister a girls’ school in the village of Kangra, Pakistan. Dr. Jan gives perpetual financial support of the Dr. Mian A. Jan Fellowship, Chester County Historical Society. He helped establish with his sister clean water tube wells in the village of Kangra, Pakistan and he established the Mian A. Jan Scholarship to benefit Pre-Med students at West Chester University.

Along with his interest in interventional cardiology he is also very active in the community lecturing on women and heart disease, metabolic syndrome, risk factor modification, coronary artery disease and recent advances in cardiology.

Ramprasad Gadi, MD

A board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease, Echocardiology and Nuclear cardiology. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington PA and completed cardiovascular disease fellowship at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Gadi’s special interest is in echocardiology and preventative cardiology.

Amanulla Khaji, MD, FACC

Aman Khaji is a board certified cardiologist who also carries board certifications in Cardiovascular Disease, Electrophysiology, Internal Medicine, Nuclear cardiology as well as Echocardiography. He received his undergraduate training at B. M. Patil Medical College in Bijapur, India. Then he received his postgraduate training in Great Britain including London, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He is a Member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians London. He completed his internship, residency, and cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships at Lankenau Medical Center at Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. He has published and co- authored several book chapters including the Braunwald Heart Disease as well as European Textbook of Cardiology. He has published in various popular cardiology/medicine journals and has been a reviewer of papers. He has presented nationally as well as internationally in various professional meetings such as American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, American College of Physicians and World Congress of Cardiology. He has expertise in treating heart rhythm diseases including complex ablations, pacemakers, defibrillators and leadless pacemakers.

Steven H. Back, MD, PHD

A board certified interventional cardiologist in general cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and internal medicine.  Dr. Back grew up in the South Jersey area.  He earned a degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.  He returned to the Philadelphia area and completed his medical and research degree at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine in the MD/PhD program.  He stayed at Temple University Hospital to complete training in internal medicine, then moved across town and completed a general cardiology fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center.  He completed an additional year of training in interventional cardiology at Boston University.  Dr. Back has expertise at treating coronary artery and lower extremity arterial disease and has published in both basic science and clinical research journals.  He is excited to have the opportunity and privilege to take care of patients in the community.

Leeann Parton, MS, C-PA

Is a Physician Assistant with a Master’s of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University. Ranking nationally in the top two-percent for her National Board Certifying scores. She primarily works at Chester County Hospital and works closely with her supervising physicians to execute quality patient care. In the hospital, Leeann performs history and physicals, orders and interprets diagnostic testing, and prescribes medications in order to assist the physicians in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Leeann is certified by The National Commission of Certified Physician Assistants and is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.

Frederick Pereira, MSN, CRNP

Is a Nurse Practitioner, who attended Gwynedd Mercy University and earned his Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Adult-Gerontology/Primary care in 2017, Pennsylvania State licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) in 2018, and board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2018. Prior, attended Temple University, earning his Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in 2001, and was a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse since 2001, and Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) in the 2000’s. As a Practitioner he works closely with is collaborating physicians.

Blake Beasley, MS, PA-C


Physician Assistant with a Master of Medical Science degree from Arcadia University.

Carol Warrener, BSN, RN

Carol is the Practice Administrator at West Chester Cardiology. She has been a critical care nurse at Chester County Hospital for many years before joining the practice. Carol received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Widener University.

Amanda Hawkins, Office Manager

As the Office Manager, Amanda is responsible for the operational and administrative tasks in the office. Amanda brings over 15 years of administrative experience in Office Management, Human Resources, and Accounting. She oversees the practice’s technology, human resources, financial and facilities management.

Debra Labe, Practice Supervisor

As the Practice Supervisor Debbie is responsible for the daily assignments of all staff and assists the office manager with the operations of the office. She oversees the out-patient Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, scheduling of out-patient procedures including device implants, cardiac catheterizations and specialized tests as well as the management of the Coumadin Clinic. Debbie has been a long-term employee and is always available to address questions or concerns.
